Clean Ring Measurement Guide

1. String or paper strip method
Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string around the base of the finger you want to wear the ring on. Mark where the ends meet, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters with a ruler. Match that number to the circumference column in the size chart.

2. Existing ring method
Take a ring that already fits well. Place it flat on a ruler and measure the inside diameter (the empty space across the middle) in millimeters. Match that number to the diameter column in the chart.

3. Measure the right finger
Always measure the exact finger you plan to wear the ring on — each finger is a different size, and your dominant hand is usually slightly larger than your other hand.

4. Measure at the right time of day
Fingers change size throughout the day. They're smallest in the morning and slightly larger in the evening. Measure at the end of the day for the most accurate fit, especially for rings you'll wear daily.

5. Account for your knuckle
If your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size in between. The ring needs to slide over the knuckle but still sit snugly at the base.

6. When in between two sizes, go up
A ring that's slightly loose is much easier to resize or adjust than one that's too tight. When two sizes feel close, always choose the larger one.

7. Wide bands fit tighter
If you're buying a band wider than 6mm, go half a size up from your normal size — wide bands grip the finger more and feel smaller than thin rings at the same nominal size.
